Beverly Bird Walks: Birding 101 & Beverly Common - Central Cemetery - Dane St. Beach Loop

Birder with Camera Pointed UpJoin Greg Power, library volunteer and birding enthusiast, to get to know Beverly's open spaces through birding! For this inaugural Beverly Bird Walk program, we will go on a birding loop from Beverly Common to Central Cemetery to Dane St. Beach and back again. As we walk together, basic birding skills will be demonstrated and beginner birding tools and resources will be highlighted. The loop will have sidewalks, gravel paths, paved paths, dirt paths, grassy and sandy areas, some of which may require the ability to navigate uneven terrain. Greg will also talk about eBird's October Big Day which also falls on October 12! This is an excellent event for first-time or new birders, as well as for seasoned birders who enjoy sharing their knowledge with newcomers to the hobby.
