Take part in Telling Our Stories an exciting written, visual, and oral history mindfulness project brought to you by Beverly Senior Center and Historic Beverly. We invite you to  share moments of your life story by looking at historic photos of Beverly together. Why do we tell stories? We tell stories to let people know who we are, to forge connections with other people and to help us figure out what our lives mean. We all have a story. Our stories are precious and should be preserved. We hope this project inspires story sharing among the generations.

A slow art experience of exploring old photographic images, sharing our reactions, capturing words and having some fun. Working with The Art of Telling Our Stories Kit, we will build a collage that reflects our unique identity through an exploration of color, images and text. Art kits will be provided. An email will be sent to participants when kits are ready for pick-up.
