For this virtual meeting, we will read two short stories, written by local authors, one classic, Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Birthmark” (found in Mosses from an Old Manse, and Other Stories by Nathaniel Hawthorne), and one contemporary, John Updike’s “A&P.” At the meeting we will discuss both stories remotely via Zoom.
