REMOTE VIA ZOOM: Reducing Stress Through Meditation

 The scientific community has recently been exploring the use of meditation as a healing modality. Join Eileen Carlotto,  long-time meditator as she discusses the extraordinary effect of meditation to reduce stress-related responses, improve concentration, and enhance clarity of thought and mental equilibrium. She will also present a simple, time-tested, ancient, and effective meditation technique. There will be a short meditation sitting as well. Join Eileen for this engaging and lively lecture. 

 Eileen Carlotto is a middle-school art teacher, author, and illustrator.  With 35 years meditation experience to draw on, Eileen offers workshops on various aspects of meditation and spirituality. Eileen has studied under a world renowned meditation teacher and been to India many times to deepen her practice and share this technique with others. She has written, Through the Stars, an illustrated book for young children and is illustrating stories that is part of a series of mystic stories for children.
