Prevention is an important characteristic in Ayurveda, the science of life. It enforces the great magnitude of being attuned into the rhythms of nature and the body, mind, and spirit. In order to achieve wellness, prevent disease, attain the ultimate goal of life “joyful living” it is necessary that one is in harmony with nature. If we can learn to observe the changes of seasons, daily and nightly routines, birth and aging patterns, and adjust one’s life-style to these cycles, a successful and healthy life is ensured.

What you will learn:

  • Understand the 3 Body Types and their biological and physiological functions that are present in all of us
  • Distinguish your dosha for your life cycle. Dosh is a sanskrit word for "constitution." In Ayurvedic medicine "dosha" are the three energies that define every person's makeup. Knowing    your dosha can help you live a healthier, joyful and more balanced life.
  • Identify the basic nature of yourself (your constitution)\
  • Ways to practice a seasonal routine to enhance overall physical, spiritual and emotional health
  • Ways a daily routine can enhance your overall physical, spiritual and emotional well being
  • How to find a practitioner for specific treatment planning for overall health that is person specific
