Belinda Rathbone will be presenting In the Company of Art: A Museum Director's Private Journals, a new book she edited that collects selected journal entries from her father, Perry T. Rathbone, longtime director of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. Urbane and charismatic, Rathbone won renown as the dean of museum directors in the United States, rightly celebrated for his ability to transform museums from quiet repositories of art into vibrant cultural centers. The book is a unique record of what he thought and how he felt along the way.

The Book Shop of Beverly Farms will have copies of the book for sale.
