Nancy Coffey will discuss the history of great estate gardens, their caretakers, and gardeners of Beverly Farms from the 1850s through the 1950s. Coffey grew up in North Beverly and has spent the last 50 years in Beverly Farms. She taught history and then worked as the volunteer curator at the Beverly Historical Society's Cabot House. She began the Beverly Farms History Project in 2007.
