Monday Mornings: Backyard Bees: Supporting Pollinator Health at Home

Monday, April 259:30—10:30 AMSohier RoomMain Library32 Essex Street, Beverly, MA, 01915

Did you know that there are over 400 species of bees that live in New England? Many of them can thrive in suburban and urban environments - if we take the right actions. In this session with Dr. Malfi, Director of the Massachusetts Pollinator Network, participants will learn about the incredible diversity of our local native bees, the challenges faced by pollinators, and what we can do to help. We will discuss gardening and lawn maintenance practices that can promote pollinator health and biodiversity, starting with our own backyards.

This program is a partnership between Green Beverly and the Beverly Public Library.

Registration recommended in case we need to switch to Zoom or cancel.

Free and open to adults. Questions? Contact Ona at ridenour@noblenet.org.
