REMOTE VIA ZOOM: Travel the World From Home with Postcrossing

Tuesday, January 26All DayOnline

Postcrossing is a volunteer project where more than 800,000 members in over 200 countries send and receive postcards to each other - more than 60 million cards since 2005! For each card sent, you get one from a random Postcrosser somewhere in the world! Alix Woznick and Barb Fecteau, our Beverly Public School librarians, joined Postcrossing last spring when they were home. Now they're hooked and they want to share the fun with you in this presentation. We will be joined by Dan from Watertown, MA ("Philately07" to Postcrossers) who has sent and received more than 2,500 postcards with people in 80 countries since he joined in 2015! Whether you want to try Postcrossing, or just want to see some great postcards and learn more about this fantastic project that connects people all over the world, join us!
