Join Diana Burnell for an introduction to foraging wild foods including spring greens, sea salt, delicious invasive plants and edible flowers. This lecture is perfect for the beginner forager, herbalist, or food enthusiast. We will review various spring edibles, discuss sustainable harvesting and local laws, review invasive edible species and discuss cooking and preservation techniques. Learn numerous edible species that are available now and may be growing right outside your door!

Diana Burnell is a naturalist and the founder of Edible Excursions Foraging in Newton, MA. A former audio engineer turned professional forager, she specializes in connecting people to the land through wild food education, guided walks, and private classes across New England.
