Salve Making Workshop
Wednesday, November 66:30—8:00 PMSohier RoomMain Library32 Essex Street, Beverly, MA, 01915
Winter brings with it cold, dry air that can leave your hands, elbows, and heels needing help and what better way to take care of them than with a salve you make and scent yourself! In this make-and take workshop plant educator, Iris Weaver will teach us about oils and herbs that soothe and leave with a salve that will help you make it through the long winter. We will discuss herbs, infused and essential oils, and the salve-making techniques. You’ll be able to scent your own salve to take home with your choice of several essential oils. A comprehensive handout is included, so you can make your own salves at home. All materials included.
Iris Weaver, is a local herbalist and plant educator who is passionate about the plants that grow around us, both wild and cultivated, that can be used for food and medicine.
